My Handsome Boys ( Both Rescues )
Logan
After a long search for our first family dog, we found Logan at the Toronto Humane Society. He had been abused and severely neglected so
they warned us that he had separation anxiety to deal with. Logan is an extremely loving, affectionate boy. He craves attention constantly
so it's no wonder he loves his hours walking at the dog parks of Durham with his friends and their owners every single day. Even at 5yrs old, Logan still
loves to run and play with his brother Riley. His favourite thing to do, other than be cuddled, is hunt in the forest. Even though he is
a mixed breed, he's very much a husky. He makes growly sounds when he's happy to be playing, and he moans when he is content. We're so glad
that Logan found his forever home with us.
Riley
After having so much success with Logan,
we decided we wanted to get him a brother, so off to the Humane Society in Oshawa. Riley
was only 4 and a half months old when we met him there. He had been tied to a fence with his brothers and sisters, by a farmer. Their mother was tied to the barn on the other side of the yard, so she couldn't even get to her puppies. Thankfully, neighbours heard
the dogs crying and barking and called The Humane Society, who quickly rescued them all. Riley is a German Shepherd/Rottweiler mix and honestly
he grew to be a little larger than we expected, but what a handsome boy! He has lots of friends at the dog park, including Dylan, who has
stayed with us while his owners went on a vacation. He loves to walk freely through the forests of Durham.
